Redington is known for their fly fishing gear as well as their clothing line. Try as I did, fly fishing was never something I demonstrated a talent for.  But, I do love Redington clothes.

My first Redington’s were picked up at an east coast outdoor retailer and I was immediately impressed with their quick-dry, comfortable feel.  I then stopped to see them at the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, earlier this year.  Turns out I like their whole line.

Shuttle Pant

Shuttle pantsMy latest acquisitions are a pair of Shuttle pants. They’re made of heavy duty fabric (double layer in the seat) with winged gussets for flexibility. The fit is loose without being baggy and they are great for traveling, hiking, as well as fly fishing.

Turns out that they treat the fabric which adds UPF 30+ sun protection. Lots of pockets including a concealed zipper pocket.

I love that I can wear them for multiple days while I’m traveling without looking all wrinkled and in need of a laundry.  Check out the Shuttle Pant – they’re available in two colors – Russet and Slate.

Trask long sleeve shirt

Trask shirtTo go with the pants, I added the Trask long sleeve plaid shirt.  Available in three plaid color combinations, I opted for Blue Drift which goes great with the Slate colored slacks.

The shirt is cut for fly-fisherman – with extra material to allow free arm motion when casting. That equates to sleeves that don’t rise up your arms when reaching overhead.  It’s a truly comfortable fit.

The material is built to wick moisture away from your skin and also offers UPF 30 sun protection.

The snaps, instead of buttons, always look sharp and the straight hem lets you wear the shirt tucked in or out.

I’ve also gotten multiple wears out of this shirt before it needed to be laundered.  Check out all the colors and sizes of the Trask shirt.
